Come to the city centre boulder event.
After a successful last year's edition, the anticipated Street boulder contest will take place in the East Bohemian town of Ústí nad Orlicí this year as well. The event is planned for Saturday 10. 6. 2023.
You can look forward to an urban bouldering competition taking place in the streets of the city in places where climbers usually do not have a chance to climb.
There are routes prepared for you on various concrete elements and stone retaining walls, similar to the ones you experienced last year, or the ones you can see in the video below. A new feature will be climbing on the concrete pillars and bridge structure of the railway viaduct, the retaining wall of the embankment next to the river, parts of old buildings and an abandoned textile factory. The programme will be complemented by strength training on various equipment from Shybuj.cz and you can also look forward to a slackline to help you warm up.
There will be 3 age categories, each of which will be divided into ladies, gentlemen/ girls, boys. Anyone between the ages of 6 and 99 can take part.
Refreshments will be available on site throughout the day. For those who came from further away, there is a nearby campsite with a climbing wall and practice via-ferrata, which was the site of last year's race finals. After the race, you can enjoy the music concerts that will take place in the square, a stone's throw from this year's final.
